What will I do on the course?
·      Understand the controls of your digital camera.
·      How to view images on your digital camera.
·      How to download the images to your computer.
·      How to manipulate/improve the images by cropping; adjusting brightness, contrast and  colour casts; remove red eye etc.

What will the course give me?
Basic knowledge of manipulating images from your digital camera.

What qualifications do I need?
The course is designed for beginners with no previous knowledge other than how to operate their own digital camera.

Functional skills
None required

How will I study?
Taught session with instruction and handouts using your own digital camera.  This will not provide instruction on how to operate individual cameras

Uniform/kit or equipment required
Your own digital camera and USB leads to connect to a computer.

How long will I spend in College?
These courses are primarily offered in Community venues at 2 hours per week.  Please check with the Community Team for your nearest venue.

Where can I go next?
NOCN Level 1 Award in Creative Camera.
