At Bishop Auckland College your course is FREE* if you are:
- Beginning your first full Level 2 qualification
- Beginning your first full Level 3 qualification and aged 19 - 24
- Aged under 19 on the 31 August 2009
- Unemployed and in receipt of income based benefits eg: Income Support, Jobseekers Allowance. Evidence required: letter from Jobcentre Plus/DWP
- An unwaged dependent of those listed above
- In receipt of Working Tax and Pension Credits. Evidence required: Award Notice
- In receipt of Housing/Council Tax benefits. Evidence required: Letter from Local Authority
- An Asylum Seeker in receipt of income based benefit assistance. Evidence required: letter from Jobcentre Plus/DWP
- Attending a Basic Skills English and Maths course (Skills for Life)
