Diploma to Teach (DTTLS) Year 2 Stage 3

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE COURSE?

You will be a full or part-time teacher in an organisation providing post-compulsory education with a teaching commitment of at least 90 hours per year. You should have achieved CTLLS or equivalent. You should have Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent or be willing to work towards these during the course. These are an essential requirement for the achievement of the final award.

ASSESSMENT

You should arrange for 90 hours of Teaching Practice, some of which will be observed by your tutor and mentor
A wide variety of assessment methods is used in each module

WHERE COULD THE COURSE LEAD?

Successful students are eligible to enrol on Year One of the B.A. (Hons.) programme: the Diploma in Professional Learning and Development.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Course Fees: POA (this includes all tuition, registration and certification fees).
Funding is available from your Local Education Authority. Application form PN1 must be completed to secure this funding. Application packs are available from Client Services and the Student Support Centre.
