College Business Breakfast Huge Success

More and more employers are engaging with the College as it hosted it's second successful Business Breakfast this year at the college's at Skills & Enterprise Centre, Spennymoor .  Over 70 came along and took part with presentations by Head of Business Development Rob Richardson promoting the  new Professional Business Training short courses and the College's involvement in the new Duke of Edinburgh scheme DurhamGate, Lesley Cannon from Job Centre Plus presenting on the new strategies including Work Clubs (5 run by the College in South Durham) and Kevin Ireson from Touchstone leads a telemarketing business who has helped the College with employer appointments.


The event was also a platform to launch the College's Employer led 'Have a Go' event taking place on 4th November. This event is free and open to members of the public, employees, employers and students
