Course overview

This qualification gives you the experience of trying out more than one vocational area. This course is for you if you have not yet decided on what specific sector to follow. You will develop knowledge and understanding of a range of different skills, which will motivate you to progress to higher levels or employment in future academic years.

You will develop your employability skills working with local employers, gaining valuable work experience and building upon personal skills and attributes essential in working life.

What will I do?

You will complete 2 mandatory units within your group and 3 optional. Within the optional units you will attend other vocational areas of the college i.e. Construction, Catering, IT, Hair & Beauty etc. to gain valuable learning and experience to help you make the right choice in your learning for the next academic year.

Materials needed

PPE may be needed in some vocational areas.

What can I do when I finish?

You can choose a relevant vocational course you have enjoyed attending in college to complete a full time course or look for employment.
