Course overview

The AIM Access to HE Diploma is a level 3 qualification, regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).

This fully recognised Access to Higher Education Diploma Animal Science course is ideal for anyone looking to change their career or return to education.

This course is the equivalent to three A Levels, allowing you to progress to an Animal Science-related degree at university after completing your course.

The Access to HE Diploma (Animal Science) aims to give you the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to access undergraduate degrees within the animal science industries.

It provides you with the opportunity to look at different areas of animal science, including animal management, biology, geography and environmental science.

It also helps you to develop the underpinning skills necessary to progress in higher education, by understanding principles such as academic writing and research and referencing.

You don't need to sit any exams as part of your course, you are assessed via your assignments.

You'll also receive guidance to help you with your UCAS application.

In less than one year this means that you can achieve everything you need to move on to university

Course requirements
